The Bachelor contestant become over the moon on her daughter Holland Rose Gentry’s first birthday. The celebration turned more amazing after her high school friend Charles Sanders proposed her while celebrating Holland’s birthday together at the Houston Zoo on 24 September 2017.
Charles took out a stunning pear-shaped diamond ring and got onto his knee to pop the question and Erica didn’t take more than a second to accept his proposal of marrying her.

Erica later shared her happiness to with her fans stating to the E! News:
We got engaged today at the zoo at my daughters first birthday! Charles proposed in front of all our friends and family asked Holland’s permission. He didn’t want to take attention away from Holland but wanted all of our family and friends to be there so he took me outside and did it, and then we came back in and did her birthday cake and put a baby diamond ring on there for her.
She further added:
He is so amazing with Holland and it meant so much to me that he asked her permission to marry me too and presented her with her own tiny diamond ring.
